Kathak Workshops 2012

31.August - 16. September

Our worshop programme is carefully planned, the content and intensity geared to your level. We will be working on technique, abhinaya (expression) and tala/laya (rhythm) and looking at the history and musical foundations of dance. The goal of each course is to develop technique and to learn a choreographed item.
The classes are accompanied on tabla and vocals. You are also invited to join the corresponding regular classes offered at the academy of kathak dance during the workshop period free of charge.
We also have special offers for early bookers and those who wish to register for more than one workshop. Like last year we are offering full time courses for beginners as well as intermediate/advanced dancers (intensive workshops).
